Chalananda Retreat Center is located inside a beautiful hot springs water park, in the protected lake and migratory bird sanctuary area of Villa Corona, Jalisco in Mexico. Just 45 minutes from Mexico's second largest and most traditional city Guadalajara. The beauty of its surroundings serve as the perfect retreat to practice, learn, relax and enjoy life.

The grounds themselves contain a 50 person movement shala, additional rooms for smaller practices, sprawling tree populated fields, on-site bungalows, and access to grassy space for up to a hundred campers to occupy - all set across the backdrop of a big, beautiful lagoon. The retreat center sits adjacent to a water-park that many Mexican families enjoy on weekends, its waters fed by warm, underground thermal aquifers. Truly a gem of a location! The weather during the months of September through December is absolutely gorgeous, with nights just a touch brisk, the days warm and sunny.
